Staff Highlight

Alondra has done a full circle in Access Afterschool from being a student in our programs, to a teacher aid, to a classroom teacher, and now serving the role as our Bilingual Program Director. Alondra graduated from Rifle High School in 2018 with the honors of being the class salutatorian. She graduated from Colorado Mountain College in May of 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education.

Alondra was raised with the ideology of "being someone in the world." She aspires to teach this to other youth and inspire them to also leave a mark in the world. She has committed the last five years to building relationships with students in the Rifle community. Alondra had the honor to teach 3rd grade the last two years. She thrives off of being a strong role-model to her siblings, family friends, and her students. As a Garfield County native, Alondra loves her community and hopes to provide further guidance to see it thrive.
